INFORMATION FOR ACCEPTED STUDENTS

At the point of acceptance to the College, students receive the following from the Admission Office:
  • A Deposit Invoice
  • Student Health Form
  • Self Disclosure Disability Form
  • Housing Request Form
  • Outline of Next Steps
Upon receipt of the student's deposit, the Placement Coordinator will send information about the assessment and available days and times to register for the evaluation.

Registration dates are scheduled prior to each semester. Accepted students must call the Admission Office to set up a time to complete the registration process.

Accepted students are advised to begin the Financial Aid Process as soon as possible.

Financial Aid Process

Briarwood's Financial Aid Office regularly sends out printed information to students applying to the College. To apply for financial aid, students need to file the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) and give Briarwood's federal code of 009407.

General information as well as the FAFSA online application are available at www.fafsa.ed.gov. FAFSA paper applications are available in high school guidance offices, libraries, and in Briarwood's Financial Aid Office.

Briarwood's Financial Aid staff are available to assist families in completing the FAFSA.

A workshop on completing the FAFSA is offered for families each fall prior to the open house in November.
