The State of Connecticut Board of Governors for Higher Education has granted licensure to Briarwood College for a new program in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Briarwood College, in cooperation with the Connecticut Court Reporters Association, is offering an 18-month, non-degree Court Reporting Program. An exciting career awaits students in the field of court reporting. Join over 40,000 court reporters nationwide that apply their special skills in this vital field, preparing verbatim records of official proceedings using computerized machine shorthand techniques. The course of study includes basic shorthand theory, speed development, computerized transcription, English punctuation for Court Reporting, legal and medical terminology, and courtroom procedures.
