Briarwood has over 600 students. You can be roommates with someone from a nearby town, or a foreign country. We also have a strong commuter population. Our courses are flexible so that you can go to class, get to your job, and make it home for dinner.

If you want to pursue a degree, but may only be able to attend classes on weekends or wish to attend an accelerated program, we have courses tailored just for you. No matter what route you may choose, every student at Briarwood College is made to feel part of the community and campus life.

Our 43-acre campus is nestled at the base of Mount Southington and is just minutes away from the bustling Queen Street with its bustling shops, dining, and entertainment. Nearby is the popular destination for fun - Lake Compounce Amusement Park.

Pool Tournaments, movie nights, International Day, club events, Gold's Gym workouts, holiday festivities and monthly calendars full of on-campus and off-campus activities keep students busy throughout the year.
