Learning Resource Center (TLC)

Briarwood College has built a fine reputation for academic quality by guiding and assisting students throughout their college years. To continue and expand this fine reputation for caring about students, The Learning Center was established to assist students who wish to strengthen basic skills or develop more effective college study skills. The Learning Center also provides assistance to students who would benefit from additional instruction in some phase of their coursework.

Students utilizing The Learning Center also have access to computers equipped with multimedia and standard software tutorials in a variety of subject areas. Tutorials for reinforcement of basic skills are also provided. Basic instruction and assistance in the use of word processing software and a laser printer are available for completion of assignments.

The Learning Center is staffed by professional instructors, who are assisted by knowledgeable peer tutors. All students are encouraged to use the services and resources of The Learning Center.
