Presidential Scholarship
- SAT scores and class rank may also be considered
- Outstanding academic record and significant involvement in school or community organizations
- Renewable for a second year with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0
Liguori Scholarship
- SAT scores and class rank may also be considered
- Good overall academic record and demonstrated potential for success in college
- Renewable for a second year with a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5
Alumni Scholarship
- Recommendation letter from a Briarwood Graduate
- Qualified high school graduates nominated by graduates of Briarwood College
- Not renewable
DECA and FBLA
- Recommendation letter from a DECA or FBLA advisor
- Highs school graduates who have been DECA or FBLA active members
- Not renewable
Founders Scholarship
- SAT scores and class rank may also be considered
- Academic record, extracurricular involvement
- Not renewable
School Partners Award
Nomination from a secondary school counselor or teacher who has attended a Briarwood College School Partners program
Scholarship Notification
Presidential and Liguori Scholarships
Notification letters for the Presidential and Liguori Scholarships will be sent by March 15.
DECA, FBLA, Alumni and Founders Scholarships
Notification letters for the DECA, FBLA, Alumni and Founders Scholarships will be sent on an ongoing basis through May 31. Awards will depend on the availability of funds.
School Partners Awards
Notification letters for the School Partners Awards will be sent within three weeks of receipt of the nomination form from the student’s guidance counselor. All nomination forms must be received no later than April 30.
Please note: The College reserves the right to make decisions about the amount of college funds a given student may receive. In the case of students who are eligible for more than one scholarship, scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Director of Financial Aid.
