- To develop an inclusive atmosphere of understanding and appreciation of individual differences.
- To provide a safe and secure living environment.
- To encourage positive academic achievement by providing an atmosphere conducive to sleep and study.
- To foster education and individual development outside the classroom in terms of respect for others.
- To provide communication, to develop social skills, and to develop leadership opportunities.
Apartment Living
Briarwood students are housed in two on-campus residences. Campus housing is available to full-time students 25 and younger during the fall and spring semesters only.
Eder Hall, the College's on campus townhouse apartment complex, includes 20 apartments. Each apartment comes with its own full-sized kitchen and furnished living room on the first floor as well as a bath/shower and 3 bedrooms on the second floor. Six students regularly share each townhouse. Cable, telephone, and internet access are available in each bedroom.

Palmisano Hall
Palmisano, which opened in January, 2004, provides 6 spacious, air-conditioned apartments for residential on-campus living. Each apartment contains a full-sized kitchen and furnished living room, as well as two showers, a sink area, and 5 bedrooms. Nine students regularly share each apartment. Cable, telephone, and internet access as well as a washer and dryer are available in each apartment.
