Internships
Computer Information Systems students are challenged to apply the concentration-specific knowledge gained through classroom and lab activities by completing one or two internships (equaling 120 hours) in a professional setting. The program director works closely with prospective internship site supervisors to ensure meaning and successful on-the-job experiences for each student. In many cases, especially when the student has located the site, the interning student is so well received that full-time employment if offered after graduation.
