In high school, I was more worried about getting school behind me than focusing on my future. The classes at my high school were much too large for me to get the special attention I needed.

After my second child was born I needed to ensure both children had a secured future. I needed a degree, but with two children I didn't have a lot of free time. Briarwood offers the Saturday College, which allowed me to earn my Associate's Degree in just twenty months - all on the weekend. Briarwood's Education for Life™ benefit, which allows graduates to takes classes for FREE, for life - made it a done deal for me.

Kassandra Harper taught the majority of my business classes. She is the mother of two children, my age and has a direction in her life. I admired these qualities and she became my mentor. I am much more career oriented now. I now have direction and have pinpointed my goals.

I work at Danbury Hospital as an assistant to the Department of Surgery Chairman. It's a job with a lot of potential. I am in the works to attend Post University in Waterbury. I want to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I am Jen Santoni. I AM BRIARWOOD.
