I found high school challenging because I had to adjust to a devastating physical injury, but in the end it was an extremely fulfilling experience.

Briarwood College was the only school I looked at because it was the only college in the area that offered a pharmacy technician program. Attending Briarwood really broadened my cultural, professional and spiritual horizons. Today, my outlook on life has improved dramatically and I am able to overcome all obstacles, which stand before me. Thanks to all I learned at Briarwood.

As I said in my "pinning" ceremony speech during graduation, it is the entire staff at Briarwood which contributed to my success.

I have a great career working in the Pharmacy at the University of Connecticut Health Center and I'd like to advance my career with the State of Connecticut. I would also like to finish my bachelor's degree. I am Michael Mazalk. I AM BRIARWOOD.
