I had a great time in high school getting to know my peers. However, the classrooms were very large, which made it difficult for me to comprehend what was being taught in class. I felt a little lost in the crowd academically.

The Briarwood campus had a small classroom atmosphere, which I believed would make it easier for me to learn. At Briarwood I wasn't a number; I was a person with a name. This nurturing environment has helped me become more mature. Becoming more mature made me take schoolwork more seriously which has excelled my career development. Barbara MacKay, the Dean of Student Life has helped me throughout my two years at Briarwood. Whenever I needed to talk to someone whether it was school related or not she was always available.

Today I'm working at the Yale New Haven Hospital as a dietetic tech. It my first job and I love it. I am Stephanie Tata. I AM BRIARWOOD.
